Who We Serve

Sovereign Foods' solutions are designed to serve military demand, humanitarian and disaster relief (refugees of conflicts, hurricane, and earthquake victim), and preparedness. We understand the challenges of emergency, and the fact that circumstances on the ground can change instantly.

Consequently, we have developed efficient logistical and fulfilment solutions that allow us to manufacture up to one million meals per day. This includes strict guidelines in the preparation, packaging and delivery of food products, including those packaged under religious guidelines such as Halal.

Hidden Hunger

Our Mission

The UN Office for coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN-OCHA) has estimated that approximately three million displaced persons face critical food and nutrition insecurity in the northeast region of Nigeria.

Although many groups and organisations, including the National Emergency Management Agency, and their state counterparts are working around the clock to provide food to the refugees, glaring cases of malnutrition and poor sanitation remains a problem for the various IDP camps in many parts of the country.

Sovereign Foods is committed to providing healthy, nutrient-packed, balanced meals for children and adults to combat hidden hunger. Hidden hunger is a chronic lack of vitamins and minerals that often has no visible warning signs. Its consequences are nevertheless disastrous, leading to mental impairment, poor health, reduced productivity, and death. It is imperative to not only supply food, but to ensure that the right types of food are provided.
